Frequently asked questions

We window clean, gutter clean, and solar panel clean throughout Surrey, and our coverage continues to grow. We currently cover:
Banstead, Cheam, Cheam Village, Chessington, Claremont, Claygate, Cobham, East Molesey, Epsom, Esher, Ewell, Hampton, Hampton Court, Hindhead, Hinchley Wood, Kingswood, Kingston upon Thames, Long Ditton, Mogador, Morden, Oxshott, Stoneleigh, Surbiton, Tadworth, Thames Ditton, Tolworth, Walton-on-Thames, West Molesey, Weybridge, Worcester Park.
If you’re unsure whether we cover your area, please email us — we are often nearby.
Email us with your address and a brief description of your property.
Because we are always working locally, we can often come out and have a look in person if you prefer, as long as the property is not too far away.
You book a date for your window, gutter, or solar panel clean.
We complete the work.
We leave you an invoice with multiple payment options.
You can pay via bank transfer, cash, or direct debit — whatever is easiest.
Payment is due once the clean is completed.
If payment isn’t made on time, we will send polite reminders.
If payment still isn’t made after reasonable follow-up attempts, future work may require pre-payment or may be paused.
If you’re on our regular 8-week cycle and skip a clean, there may be a small price increase on the next visit as additional work may be required.
If a scheduled clean is skipped, the windows, frames, sills, and surrounding areas naturally build up a lot more dirt, dust, pollution, algae, and residue. This means that when we return on the next visit, the job takes much longer and requires more water, more time, and more effort to bring everything back to a good standard.
Regular window cleaning works best when the windows are kept on top of — this keeps them looking bright and clean all year round, prevents heavy build-up, and helps protect the frames and seals. When windows are left for longer than the agreed schedule, they simply get much dirtier, which is why a small price increase is applied for that visit.
We completely understand that 8 weeks might be too frequent for some customers, so we also offer a 16-week service, which still keeps the property looking clean and avoids the heavy build-up that happens with longer gaps.
The most cost-effective and best-looking results come from sticking to your agreed schedule, but we’ll always do our best to offer a cycle that suits you.
If you’re not happy with any part of the clean — streaks, marks, or anything that looks missed — just let us know within 24 hours. We will happily return free of charge to put it right.
Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us, and we always aim to deliver the best possible service.
Yes — same-day cancellations are charged in full.
This is because our team has already prepared for your appointment, travelled to your area, and allocated time specifically for your clean. When a customer cancels on the day, we are unable to book another job into that slot at such short notice, which results in lost working time.
We always let you know in advance when we are coming, so if you need to cancel or change your appointment, please tell us as early as possible. We completely understand that things come up — just give us a message beforehand and we’ll rearrange.
Same-day cancellations will still incur a full charge because:
We have already travelled or allocated travel time
We lose the entire appointment slot
We cannot refill the time with another job
Fuel, labour, and time costs have already been used
We appreciate your understanding, and giving notice helps us run efficiently and continue providing a reliable service for all customers.
We always let you know in advance when we are coming so you can plan ahead. If you cancel on the same day, it means we’ve already travelled to your area or scheduled time for your job. A last-minute cancellation means we lose that time completely and can’t book another customer in.
The cancellation charge helps cover the travel time, fuel, and the appointment slot that can’t be replaced. Please let us know as early as possible if you need to reschedule — we always try our best to keep you informed of our visit times too.
You do not need to be home for us to clean your windows. If you do not want us to go over your gate or access the rear, you must clearly tell us before the visit. Otherwise, we will assume permission to access the back using ladders and complete the clean as normal. If front-only is preferred, we are happy to do that — just please let us know in advance.
We use both methods, depending on the property and customer preference:
Pure water system for most exterior windows
Traditional hand washing (squeegee and applicator) for:
Large bi-fold doors
Inside window cleaning
Certain properties where customers prefer the traditional method
If you prefer traditional window cleaning, please let us know — we’re happy to accommodate.
We do not use gutter vacuums.
We clean gutters by hand using ladders, as we find vacuums are often unreliable and leave behind debris.
Our method allows for a full, accurate clean, and we will also flush gutters with water where appropriate to ensure everything is flowing properly.
We use the correct safe equipment for solar panel cleaning, including:
Soft cleaning brushes
Rotating brush heads
Ladders for access
Temporary scaffolding, where needed
No chemicals
This ensures panels remain protected and operate at maximum efficiency.
Yes — we use ladders regularly. Many Surrey homes have extensions, flat roofs, skylights, conservatories, or tricky angles that cannot be reached with poles alone. We safely use ladders to access:
Skylights
Flat roofs
Rear extensions
High guttering
Solar panels where poles are not suitable
Our team is fully trained in safe ladder work.
For large commercial contracts, we may ask for a 25% deposit before work begins.
The best way to reach us is by email, especially if you include your address and a few details about your property.
You can also contact us via phone, WhatsApp, or Instagram.
Yes, we do. We understand that some businesses or households prefer cleaning to be done early in the morning, late in the evening, or at quieter times to avoid disruption. We offer out-of-hours window cleaning, including evenings and weekends, depending on availability.
This service is ideal for shops, offices, restaurants, and anyone who needs minimal interruption. Simply let us know your preferred time, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule.
We do not usually clean windows in heavy rain, as it affects our safety and the quality of the work. Light rain is normally fine, but if the rain becomes heavy or weather conditions are unsafe, we may postpone your clean.
If this happens, we’ll always contact you to rearrange your appointment and get you booked in as soon as possible.
Yes — gutter cleaning can be done in light to moderate rain, as it doesn’t affect the quality of the clean. In fact, rainwater helps us flush the gutters through once debris is removed.
However, if the rain is extremely heavy or if it becomes too windy for ladder safety, we may reschedule. Safety is our top priority.
Yes, solar panels can be cleaned in the rain, and rainwater actually helps rinse away remaining dirt. We use soft brushes, rotating heads, ladders, and sometimes temporary scaffolding depending on access.
As long as the weather isn’t severe or dangerous, we can safely clean solar panels even when it rains.
No, there is no written contract for you to sign. By agreeing to a regular cleaning schedule, you automatically agree to our terms and conditions.
All of our terms and conditions can be viewed anytime on our Terms & Conditions page. This keeps everything simple and flexible, while ensuring both sides understand the service.
Our window cleaning prices vary depending on the number of windows and the type of property. Prices for a regular 8-week service typically start at:
Around £10 – Shop fronts, small flats, or maisonettes
£20–£30 – Smaller semi-detached houses
£30–£50 – Larger detached houses (depending on the number of windows)
We charge based on how many windows you have, not the size of the house. Please note: One-off cleans, especially after-building cleans, may cost slightly more due to the extra time and work required.
Gutter cleaning prices depend on the size and layout of the guttering:
From £30 – Standard front run of guttering on a typical first or second floor
Around £50 – All four sides of a standard house
More for larger detached homes – depending on the gutter configuration, height, and access
We clean all gutters by hand, using ladders, and we always flush through with water to ensure everything flows properly.
Solar panel cleaning typically starts from around £5 per panel, depending on access. We use soft brushes, rotating brush heads, pure water, ladders, and sometimes temporary scaffolding if needed.
Prices may be slightly higher if additional equipment such as scaffolding is required to safely reach certain panels.
No — you don’t need to do anything. The only thing we ask is that your back gate is unlocked so we can access the rear windows or gutters if needed.
Don’t worry — we will shut or lock the gate behind us on our way out.
Interior window cleaning is also available, and prices are usually double and a half the cost of your regular outside window clean. This is because cleaning inside windows takes longer and requires more careful work.
For example: If your outside clean is £20, then inside + outside would be £50 on an 8-week service.
Before we begin an interior clean, we kindly ask that you clear all items from the window sills so we can work safely and efficiently without moving your belongings.
Yes, absolutely. When we clean your windows inside, we always wear shoe coverings or remove our shoes—whichever you prefer. This keeps your home clean and ensures we respect your flooring. Interior window cleans take more time and care, so we make every effort to protect your home while we work.
Conservatory roof cleaning is also available and starts from £30–£50 for a standard outside clean. If you’d like the inside and outside cleaned together, prices are usually £60–£100, depending on the size, design, and access of the conservatory roof.
This includes removing dirt, algae, moss build-up, and restoring a bright, clear finish. We clean conservatory roofs safely and thoroughly using the correct equipment to avoid damage.
Yes, we clean every window on the property unless you request otherwise. This includes Velux windows, skylights, roof windows, loft extension windows, and any high or awkward windows.
We use long-reach poles, ladders where required, and safe access techniques to ensure we reach all windows. If it can be cleaned safely, we will clean it. If any window cannot be accessed for safety reasons, we will always let you know in advance.
We recommend having your windows cleaned every 6 to 8 weeks for a consistently sparkling finish. Homes in areas with heavy dust, pollution, or tree coverage may need more frequent cleaning. Regular maintenance keeps your windows looking clear and extends their lifespan.
Our standard service includes cleaning the outside of all windows, sills, and frames. We also clean Velux windows, skylights, and conservatory roofs. For an extra charge, we can provide specialist cleaning for stubborn marks or delicate areas.
Yes! We use water-fed pole systems and ladders to safely access and clean hard-to-reach windows. Safety is our top priority, and all our equipment is modern and secure.
Absolutely. Conservatory roofs typically start at £30–£50, and if you want both the inside and outside cleaned, prices are usually £60–£100, depending on the size. Our team ensures every panel is spotless and streak-free.
Yes, we provide commercial cleaning for offices, shops, and public buildings. We offer flexible scheduling, including out-of-hours services, so your business isn’t disrupted.
We primarily use pure water fed through our professional poles, which removes dirt safely without harsh chemicals. This method is eco-friendly, safe for your family, pets, and plants, and leaves your windows sparkling.
Most standard houses take between 30 Minutes to 1 hour for one a one man team, depending on the number of windows, their size, and accessibility. Conservatories or very high windows may take longer.
Yes, our team is equipped to clean Velux and other roof windows safely using water-fed poles and ladders, ensuring every window in your home is spotless.
We use water-fed poles, ladders, and high-quality squeegees to clean windows safely and effectively. Our team is fully trained in health and safety protocols, ensuring your home and our staff are protected at all times.
